We are pleased to give you AFROPUNK Battle of the band’s winner Red Robyn’s debut single titled ‘Dust and Iron’ an honestly dazed recollection of a one night stand.

Red Robyn had an eventful year performing her first festival at Oppikoppi and winning the Afropunk JHB battle of the bands in 2018. The 24-year-old UKZN Music School graduate from Wentworth, Durban releases her Debut single ‘Dust and Iron’ on the 29th March 2019. The single is now available on all major streaming platforms as of via Africori. The ethereal,guitar-driven track sends listeners on the candid account of a one night stand and its repercussions. The single ‘Dust and Iron’ which was also written and composed by Red Robyn’s is the artist’s first solo project to be released on all major streaming platforms and was produced by the artist herself with some production assistance from fellow musician and band member Sean Ross. The single is the first of two stand-alone singles that the artist will release leading up to her debut EP which will be available in September 2019.
